We enjoyed walking the beautiful streets of Venice for hours. We had pizza, pasta, café, gelato and various pastries throughout the day. We walked by a few churches, San Marco Piazza, Rialto, and some other notable places.
I did find the city unique with the numerous canals running through its entirety. However, I was a bit disappointed by Venice. The city itself was way too touristy and packed with people. But the area we stayed at (St. Elena) was a local part of town which I really enjoyed. The 30-minute walking distance to centrum was barely noticeable because of the beautiful walk along Riva degli Schiavoni✾
