10 THINGS TO DO FROM YOUR SICK BED

Being sick has really knocked me on my ass and messed with my blogging schedule. I’ve even begun to wonder if posting a blog that encapsulated the essence of the brain during a cold would be entertaining. Essentially, it would read like this, “Zzzzz. Sniffle. Zzzz. Cough. Zzzzzzzzz.” And, honestly, that’s pure entertainment at its best. However, in the midst of my cold coma I did experience vague moments where my body still refused to participate in the world outside of my bedroom. So then the question became: What do you do when you’re stuck in bed for days?

Well, if you’re like me, you snooze through copious amounts of netflix, catching only every other season of Gossip Girl (if that) and snuggle with your blankets. But here are a few other ideas to cure your sick day boredom:
 1. Sleep! 
I mean, I am in love with naps and sleeping, but not even I knew I could sleep THAT much.

2. Read a book! 
It's the perfect time to catch up on your reading. So browse your favorite blogs. Grab that latest novel you’ve been meaning to read. Or better yet grab that trashy novel that is your favorite guilty pleasure.

3. Netflix 
Watch movies, catch up on your favorite TV shows, or watch them all over again from the start. After all you’ve got all the time in the world when you’re sick in bed.

4. Sink into the tub for a long luxurious bath 
With a bath bomb of course!

5. Crank up some music!

6. Online shopping (especially with all the sales going on) 
Always makes me feel better

7. Order some food! 
A little pizza never hurt nobody 

8. Finish anything that you've been putting off for a while! School assignments, applications, getting back to your emails etc

9. Plan your next vacation :-) 
Grab your laptop, Ipad, or smart phone and search the internet for travel destinations and good deals. It will definitely give your spirits a little lift to daydream about your next travel adventure.

10. Tweet about your misery and drink plenty of healthy and warm fluids such as tea, water, juice, soups and broth
